IFAT engages with government bodies, labour commissions, policymakers, and platform companies to push for laws, policies, and practices that protect and empower app-based workers.Organizing Workers
We work at the grassroots level, bringing together transport workers in cities and towns to form unions and collectives that can negotiate and fight for their rights.Campaigns & Awareness
Through campaigns, workshops, and public actions, we raise awareness about the working conditions and struggles of platform workers, while promoting solidarity among transport workers.Legal & Social Support
IFAT provides legal assistance, grievance redressal, and support services for workers facing issues such as unfair terminations, payment disputes, and workplace harassment.
Our Vision
A fair, safe, and inclusive app-based transport sector where workers have rights, dignity, and a voice in shaping the future of work.
